Electric scooters generally have two small hard wheels, with a folding frame, usually made of aluminum.

Between the two wheels there is a platform to support the feet, and the vehicle is governed by a handlebar connected to the front wheel.

The autonomy generally varies from 5 to 50 km, and the maximum speed is about 30 km / h.

They don't need parking areas and you can enter with these vehicles in pedestrian zones, not accessible to other means of transport.

The application you use for the scooter is LINK, a credit card must be connected and the price varies according to the route you have to run across.

Bicycles rental

If you don't want to get on any of the previous vehicles you can safely rent bicycles.

Rental prices vary depending on the amount of days or hours you decide to rent them for.

Prices for one day usually range from 12 to 15 euros.

While for a few hours they range from 6 to 12 euros.

Car rental

Another way to get around Corralejo and the nearby towns is the car rental.

The cost normally varies both depending on the car you decide to rent and obviously for how long you decide to rent it.

Tips for getting around

The city of Corralejo is not extremely vast in its size.

There are several areas with cycle and pedestrian paths, anywhere in the city with less than 20 minutes on foot it is possible to reach all the major places of interest.

The transport is essential to visit the whole island and to reach the best beaches of Fuerteventura.

If you want to have your autonomy and dedicate yourself to exploring the island, renting a car is essential.

Public transport links reach the larger cities of Fuerteventura such as Puerto del Rosario, Morro Jable, Antigua, La Oliva, El Cotillo and Betancuria.

The most beautiful beaches and places of greatest natural interest can only be reached by private vehicle.

Our advice is to rent a 4 × 4 car to reach the wildest and most fascinating places on the island.
